The Ministries of Our Church
The ministries of this church are the lifeblood of this church. You will want to become involved where your spiritual needs can be fulfilled and where you can share what God has done in your life. Whether it is joining in community service or becoming part of the youth group, we want for you to find a place to serve and a place to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Make sure you check out the ministry opportunities we have to offer!
Adventist Community Services (ACS)
Punta Gorda Adventist Community Services (PGACS) department has reopened its food pantry, working with the Harry Chapin Food Bank in Fort Myers. In the planning is being able to offer boxed lunches to the homeless and providing showers to those who would need a clean and safe place to clean up.
God has blessed the PGACS with a wonderful building to do good things in the community. It is our mission for Christ to provide for people's immediate needs in the church and our community and in giving aide whenever emergency situations arise.
Food Pantry Hours: Thursdays 10 am - 12:30 pm

--Helping youth and children develop and present their own AY programs
Health Ministries are an integral part of the mission of the Punta Gorda church. It is not only about assisting our members with living healthier, happier lives, but also about reaching out to the surrounding community.

The aim of Women's Ministries in the Punta Gorda church is "sisters in Christ connecting with each other", building good will and unity among each other. By working cohesively on projects that benefit not only our church, but also our community, and being sensitive to multi-cultural and multi-ethnic perspectives, we encourage friendship, support, and spiritual growth.
We also minister to the needs of women of domestic violence in our community through donations of blankets and personal toiletries in the tote bags sewn by the women in our church.
We conduct classes in healthy eating and lite-physical exercise, excursions, book club, and prayer partnership.
Other outreach activities:
Quarterly Prayer Breakfast (not only for women, men are also included)

Prayer ministry is the lifeblood of the Punta Gorda church. We are known to be a praying church.
The Prayer Warriors in the church meet twice during the week. Tuesdays between 10-11 am and Wednesdays from 6-7 pm before the regular prayer meeting begins. Starting with a devotional reading, the team prays over each prayer request given during the main church service and other forms of requests.
Our Prison Ministries volunteers attend to the spiritual need of the inmates of the area prison weekly. Their vision is to reach as many people as they can, bringing the Good News of Salvation through prayer, Bible lessons, and distribution of Christian literature. With the help of the Holy Spirit, they are learning that they can put the pieces of their lives back together.
Prison Ministries of various church es are in the process of creating an Adventist Church inside the prison.
